While the menu is concise and meals can be on the smaller side, the flavors impress, attracting a busy lunchtime crowd. Though prices are higher than nearby competitors, the quality of dishes like seafood linguini and the flavorful celeriac soup make it a worthwhile choice for both casual and special occasions.
We stayed at the Paddington Hilton in Toronto and decided to try out The Frontline restaurant for a late evening dinner. It was a perfect dining experience from 9am to 9pm.
This restaurant near Paddington Station is famous for its fish and chips, and it definitely lives up to its reputation. The food was excellent, and the service on the night we visited was also great.
The food was incredible. The server was fantastic and sincere. The restaurant also supports a great cause!
It was extremely disappointed by the managers and incapable of correcting their mistakes. we have booked a table after we offered a nice set menu online with a offer of curses for or three courses for eating on this set menu looked very nice and healthy when we arrived at the restaurant and asked after the advertised menu that we had seen online and that was displayed on a wooden poster in front of the restaurant, the waiter told us that they had another set menu and a table that had a table. that is not at all what we wanted to eat and when we challenged the manager for their wrong advertising, she said that she had made a mistake so we asked her to honor the advertising and let us have a two cursor from the menu, for which we seemed reasonable because it was the basis on which we decided to eat in this restaurant. the manager refused and tried to tell us that we should eat the meat pottery. (we are vegetarian). the at least what she could have done is thankful that we point out to her mistake that she incorrectly advertise a better menu and better deal online. we were so outraged by the way she treated us that we went and went into a beautiful Greek restaurant next door went truly disappointed by how this woman treated with the situation. the restaurant is not recommended.
Frontline is a casual restaurant, very busy in the linchtime. the food is innovatiw and tastes great. the menu is rather short and the portions are comparatively small. the prices are high for this neighbourhood and the service works hard, but has difficulty coping with the high demand at midday. In summary, a good place for a simple meal.
