Franklins - London
Franklins
Description
Franklins restaurant offers a mixed experience with both positives and negatives. While some diners were disappointed by the uncomfortable seating, lack of attention from the waitstaff, and high prices, others praised the fresh and local ingredients used in the dishes, as well as the attentive service and friendly atmosphere. Highlights included fantastic main courses, delicious oysters, and a great wine list. While some felt the food was overpriced for the quality, others found it to be reasonably priced. Overall, opinions were divided on whether the experience at Franklins was worth the cost.

My favourite choice for classic seasonal British food from Sunday roasts, to game and homemade haggis. Also does great bar food: traditional savories such as Welsh rarebit and Scotch woodcock. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly too.
Had a gorgeous celebratory meal at this pub. The vibes are low-key, but the service and food is fantastic. It's the perfect spot for a really special meal (without needing to dress up! My partner had the veggie sausages as a non-vegetarian and said they were one of the best things he's ever had. Would really recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
