lunch for two in parlour. very slow service had to get a waiter down to get our order. eat expensive for what it is. yes they pay a premium for eating here but I expected better calculated for the prices. prawn cocktail was tasty, but tiny and very spicy a ton of cayenne pumped up; and crowning chicken salad also dry and disappointing for the price. I felt like having a classic today and where else to find a true classic than in one of the temples of British Imperialism - Fortnum and Mason.
We visited parlour this Sunday for brunch as part of our birthday celebrations in london. the friendly staff was friendly, attentive and very professional. eating is simply wonderful both hearty and sweet. we love the parlour, previously visited, and it will celebrate a firm family lover for special. they will be recommending
