What DavidJerseyCI likes about Donostia:
Visited on a busy Friday evening. We sat at the bar which was fun as we could watch kitchen at work. Whilst the food was expensive, the pork dishes we had were absolutely delicious. Service was attentive and polite. Only negative was that there was some disharmony within the staff group which was unfortunately played out in front of us due to where we were sitting. In spite of this would definitely return. View all feedback. What Harriet G doesn't like about Donostia:
Booked for 6pm, turned up at 6.01pm and were told to wait outside while they briefed staff. Really rude, no explanation, no excuses, no apology. Wouldn’t recommend. View all feedback.

Very cute restaurant with Spanish flair. My main dish was a pork from the special menu and it was delicious. Desert was okay. Service and staff was outstanding.
This is a hidden gem. A little out of the way but some authentic Basque Spanish offerings.
I ate at the bar a few months ago and had a nice meal. It's always hard at the bar pending how busy they are and I felt a little forgotten. I don't know...

The portion sizes were criticized as being too small and the food itself was described as mediocre and plain, lacking effort from the chef. Despite these negative experiences, other diners praised the delicious pork dishes, attentive service, and enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, Donostia in London offers a taste of Spanish cuisine with a mixed reception from customers. While some appreciate the flavors and vibe of the restaurant, others find fault in the service and portion sizes. For those seeking a Spanish culinary experience in Marylebone, Donostia may be worth a visit, especially for its tasty tapas and vibrant ambiance.
We were there for a birthday dinner and everyone went above and beyond to make everyone and especially the birthday boy feel extra special. We took staff’s reco...

Food was very mediocre, unimaginative, plain, very small portions. I did not feel that the chef made any effort. This is probably one of the least tapas places...
