We went to Del Aziz in Swiss Cottage on Friday night as we were staying in a hotel nearby. There was nobody else in there (could have been down to Summer holidays or people staying away because of the olympics). We had the set menu and a smoothie (highly recommend the smoothies). Great balance of vegetarian options. I am not a vegetarian, but really enjoyed the vegetarian dishes). We were very full by the end of the... View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Del Aziz Swiss Cottage:
The atmosphere was filled with the scent of chlorine and the sound of music. I personally dislike music in restaurants. However, the staff were fantastic and managed to find us a table a little away from the speakers and lowered the volume. Despite their efforts, I don’t think I would return. I can't imagine anyone truly enjoying music while eating; it just interferes with conversation. View all feedback.
This restaurant is a great spot for a quick morning breakfast. The kitchen has been fixed, and hot meals are back on the menu. The sandwiches are very delicious, and you can enjoy a lovely view of the pool while you eat.
The restaurant had a strong scent of chlorine and music playing in the background. I personally don't enjoy music in restaurants. The staff were excellent and moved us to a quieter table, even turning down the music for us, but I don't think I'll be returning. I don't know anyone who likes having music during dinner; it interferes with conversation.
I generally avoid eating at fast-food places like McDonald's, but I must mention that the waitress was beautiful and very well-presented. Unfortunately, the burger I had was a sad, limp brown patty, and the salad leaves looked like they had been sitting in my mother’s refrigerator for a week! On a brighter note, the bakery items and cakes looked delicious. The manager eventually apologized for the situation. It's located just below the Hampstead Theater, making for a pleasant evening overall. A big thank you to the lovely waitress for saving the day!
I was satisfied with my eating in del aziz and the service was in order. the restaurant is located in the grounds of the free time center, so no great place to take a date, for example.
The food was not at all bad, although a little salty. But the ambience and setting fro dinner was just plain weird. We went for a quick bite before going to the cinema and it was so quiet with only 4 tables including us. We sat by the window and watched people swimming while we ate. The waitress wasn't particularly knowledgeable when we asked if she could recommend anything. All in all, it was an experience but definitely not one I will be returning to as it wasn't cheap at £12-15 for a main.
