This cafe is really nice! There was live music and a great atmosphere, not too crowded but not empty either. The food was good, although nothing extraordinary for the price. The food at this popular chain restaurant was just as expected. However, the service was disappointing. Drinks and food were brought to the table sporadically by unfriendly servers. The manager seemed rude and unhelpful, refusing to serve coffee when the restaurant was busy. We were told to wait for our food, but ended up waiting much longer than promised. I popped in for a coffee break on a busy Saturday afternoon.
We popped in for afternoon tea because the cakes in the window looked fabulous We all ordered afternoon tea.
I had no particular desire to go here, but a friend suggested it as someplace convenient for her to meet, and so I obliged.
It’s the best branch I have visited from the concerto group
The ambience was very nice not too noisy not really quiet. Everyone just getting on with their meal. The waiters were pleasant but I think £16.95 for an omelette which was meant to have mature cheddar cheese which I absolutely could not taste at all) is quite excessive. I had a Diet Coke cheese omelette with chips and a coffee and my bill was £32.
