Café Murano - St James - London

Fantastic food, beautifully cooked and flavourful. More than the food itself, our experience was made memorable by the lovely gentleman, Massimo. He was helpful, funny and so warm. He’s a huge credit to this (or any! restaurant.

Lovely place with good vibe for friends gathering. Spaghetti alle vongole was hella good, risotto 4-star, bruschetta was not my cup of tea, tiramisu…fair. So I gave it an overall 4-star

We had a really pleasant meal at Cafe Murano in St. James. There were some classics on the menu like the cacio e pepe and cured meats mixed in with some other dishes that made Cafe Murano more than just another Italian. I have however been to some other standout Italians in London that I would go back to over this restaurant. Another positive however is it’s proximity to the West End.

After hearing about this restaurant many times, I went recently and was not disappointed. Everything including the setting, service, food and drink were exceptional. Portions were fairly large and had good options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Highly recommend the spicy sausage pasta, the arancini and the beef crudo.

What a lovely place to sit outside and chill watching the world go by. We ordered two beers, two wines, olives, bread and the sharing meat platter, which I have to say was outstanding! #cafemurano #thehappycouple #theextreamlyhappycouple
