I stumbled upon Busaba after watching the changing of the guard and exploring Piccadilly, and I'm glad we chose to skip the more typical restaurant choices. Great... View all feedback.
What Kirsty Green doesn't like about Busaba Eathai - Goodge Street:
It was a very busy evening in there, Friday night, I get it but our food took a long time to arrive. Drinks also took ages. One meal wasn't available any more so our order had to be changed and this arrived far later than the other food. Some was cold but we didn't complain as we needed to eat and get out. The waitress was friendly and was doing her best but we were very disappointed as usually we really like it in t... View all feedback.
• attentive, polite and helpful staff • eating was very tasty and had to wait long! • large selection of drinks bangkok mojito is great! • clean restaurant with a great atmosphere • ideal if you stay in bloomsbury
Extremely bad and very slow service needed hours and minutes to serve. then the arrogant and obnoxic waiter had the boldness to ask loudly before the others, why I would not leave him a service fee. the waiter has clearly no view into what is a good service.
Since we divorced one of their brunettes an incredible eating, we have come every Saturday in busaba at bloomsbury. the food was very tasty, but last time apart from the food service as well. was extremely disappointing we again had one of the courts twice (we didn't notice to wait obviously as long as the court came right, what it wasn't) but once we got the bill we said that "it was a trick to satisfy us". not sure if it's a real one to talk to customers, but maybe it's a time for someone to change a career. I must admit that it was a rather disappointing visit.
When I go to the evening Thai, I go to the rule for dancing, cosier, family-run restaurants. they give me a higher sense of authenticity, crafts and care. once I wanted to try this big chain, that was already a past, but I never got mine. Actually, the main reason we chose this place is because it is great and can see large groups on relatiw short which they in our case on a Saturday night. we went for a mix of appetizers and then we jumped on the noodles from the wok: black pfefferseef, crispy aromatic duck and the classic pad thai with garnel to name some. good portioning and decent taste, but nothing unforgettable. do not definitiw like the taste I usually get in these tones, cosier, family-run restaurants, to which I usually go. I also had the feeling that the nudes I had were heated again. good for partys and fun environment. for authenticity, craftsmanship and care I will go further where to the places I know.
The staff and atmosphere are very welcoming, and the food is exquisite wonderful balance of flavours!
