Brinkley’s Wine Shop - London

What Chris likes about Brinkley’s Wine Shop:
Service is excellent: pretty servers with smiles. No fat cows or attitude. Food is good but main course portions are a bit small (used to be larger). Wine list is good but a little expensive compared to similar retaurants. Ambience is very good: tablecloths, lighting, etc. It can get noisy when diners get 'oiled '. But everyone speaks properly. i went to lunch, wanted fishcakes which i was then told were off the menu, have been coming here for years and liked the simple lunch menus cottage pie some good fried fish, salads etc. it has changed and am not very keen on the alternative. i was with 3 friends and we all had problems choosing.
