What Émilie Lemaitre doesn't like about Bamboula:
don't go there. we went to bamboula on Friday night to eat a meal. halfway through our meal the dame came to our table to ask us to hurry because they have another booking. we had not even begun our meal times. that really upset us and after that I didn't eat another mouth full. I went straight from my lunch, I won't be back. View all feedback. What Margarette Ebert likes about Bamboula:
Little Gem. Four of us went to Brixton to see a film at the Ritzy. We came across Bamboula and decided to have some Caribbean food. We ordered jerk chicken and jerk lamb with all the timmings and for desert, bread pudding and tropical crumble. The lamb is to die for! The food and service was so good we asked to speak to the manager to express our satisfaction, we left twelve pounds tip. Really glad to have found this... View all feedback.

read moreBamboula is a Caribbean restaurant in Brixton that offers a relaxed atmosphere, great reggae beats, and soulful food. While some reviewers have mentioned mediocre service and early closing times, others have praised the delicious dishes such as jerk chicken, jerk lamb, and curry goat. The restaurant also offers an all-you-can-eat buffet option, making it a great choice for those looking for a quick and tasty meal. Overall, Bamboula seems to be a mixed bag with some diners loving it for its authentic Caribbean flavors and others feeling disappointed by the service and closing times.
