That's my second time there. The place is very cosy, good food (although didn't like much the beef Sunday roast, but that's because I typically opt for other type of food), nice service. We didn't book and were glad to have a space. It's not too busy and a pleasant brunch spot to meet up with friends. View all feedback.
This is an outstanding restaurantThe service is top notch and the food is superbOur waiter Luiz ensured that everything was perfect.
The Soho english breakfast was super deliciousIt consists of a sausage, 2 fried ham slices, 2 eggs, potatoes, a portobello mushroom and fried tomatoes.
Six of us came to Balans for dinner and drinks the other nightIt was right around dinnertime and fortunately had no trouble finding seats.
The balans soho society is a brasserie restaurant franchise with the focus on serving quality food at an affordable price (for london). the inner of this high street kensington filiale is very similar to the paul and le pain quotidien bakeries and restaurants that we have in dubai. only these men serve alcohol. open from morning. Therefore my cousin and I have our breakfast with a high, stiff **** mary – yes baby!
We had a great time at this beautiful, modern restaurant with a lively atmosphere and attentive staff. We went with friends early on a Friday at 6 pm and the place was bustling. The restaurant was well-organized and we were off to a good start with a table for 7. We ordered a variety of drinks, including a Rioja blanco and mango mule, and delicious dishes such as seared duck, monkfish scampi, ham croquettes, black rose samosas, and seared scallops. The food was tasty, fresh, and came in decent portion sizes. The service was quick and the staff were very attentive to our needs.
