Al Forno Putney - London

The food was amazing, but the restaurant was super short staffed. I waited almost 30m to order food and another 20m to order desert and another 20m to pay. There was a lot of time wasted on just waiting. It wasn’t the guys fault as you could see they were really busy running around. It would have been better if there were more people working so customers could be served with more care. The music was also really loud.

Avoid going to this restaurant on Saturday nights if you want to have a conversation with other guests. The noise levels are unbearable. Other nights are more pleasant.

The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic! I definitely need to come back here more frequently.

Amazing place and food. Quickly served and the staff there very polite

I have been to this restaurant before and decided to make a reservation for a group of 7 people for dinner at 7.30pm on Saturday 4th May. Not everyone arrived at the same time, so I informed the staff that they could use the table for other customers as one person had dropped out. We were willing to wait to order our food, but it took a long time to get the waiter's attention. When we were finally ready to order, we were told that the waiter could only deliver orders to tables and not take them. We then had to flag down a waiter to order our food. The food arrived quickly for the 5 people who were already seated, but the pizza I ordered was not up to the usual standard. The cheese was not melted enough and there were very few sausage slices. I was also surprised to find olives with stones still inside on the pizza. The service was poor, we were never asked if we were happy with our food or if we wanted anything else. We decided to skip dessert due to the long wait. It was also difficult to get our bill, as the table that came in after us was served first. Overall, the service was unacceptable and we were disappointed with our experience at Al Forno in Putney. I have visited this restaurant before and had a great experience, but this visit was a letdown. I will not be recommending this restaurant to others.
