Afternoon Tea Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe

I had a fantastic experience with the afternoon tea at this restaurant. The service was top-notch.

We arrived at the restaurant early and decided to ask the hostess if we could be seated. We were delighted to find out that it was possible, and we were impressed by the excellent service and delicious food. It was the perfect way to end our Globe Theatre tour. I highly recommend it!

The restaurant did not honor our reservation on OpenTable. We were turned away and I was told that I needed to phone in if we wanted a reservation next time.

The restaurant is located in a good area and has a friendly and skilled staff. It is a nice place to dine.

Afternoon tea savoury items were great, the scones were lovely but the sweets were just surgery with little ‘flavours’ Sadly, the service was terrible. Everyone was nice and professional, but we were ultimately ignored the whole time. I can guarantee that if the staff had actually asked if we fancied more drinks or cleared the table before we asked for the bill 3 hours into the booking....we would have spent at least 50% more then we did.
