Had a fantastic experience at this winery. It’s definitely off the beaten path but such a wonderful winery. They have taken precautions to help present the spread of transmittable diseases. My group was separated from other groups. The table they sat at was in a well ventilated area and the staff all wore masks. The wines were fantastic and everyone in the group agreed that this was the best stop. View all feedback.
What Chuck A doesn't like about Brewer-clifton Winery:
I hate to give poor reviews but after having spent about $50 a bottle for a Pinot and a Chardonnay at their store in Los Olivos and being told both were library wines, I'd give both less that 1 star. You may have sold us wine that were over aged and you needed to dump. Either way, be weary buyer, not such a good wine. View all feedback.
Great wines! Interesting location for a tasting room though.

Easily one of the finest wineries in the Santa Rita Hills area. Outstanding nationally recognized and highly rated wines. Exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and well educated staff. Reasonable tasting fees, especially considering the quality of the wine (waived with certain wine purchases). I was so impressed that I purchased a case during the tasting! They deliver. This is now one of my favorite wineries.

If you 're looking for one of the best producers in the Santa Rita Hills area, then look no further than Brewer-Clifton. I 've been a massive fan of these wine for the past decade and always try to make an excuse to visit their tasting room when on a road trip down the 101. It 's a bit out of the way but, well worth the stop if you love coastal Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. My last visit to the tasting room was back in January and I 'm not sure why it 's taken so long to write about it because it 's a great tasting experience. While the surrounding wine ghetto might not be much to look at, there are plenty of good producers in a small concentrated area but, BC is my favorite. The Gnesa Chardonnay and Machado Pinot Noir are easily two of my favorite single vineyard wines expressing depth and racy acid. Killer wines. If you 're looking for some great value then stick to the AVA wines where you 'll get some killer bang for your buck. Also, I just heard that they are opening a tasting room in Los Olivos, which is on the east side of the 101 and a quaint little town full of great food wine. Congrats, a must visit!
