The Mexican Kitchen - Lombok

This is a restaurant with a soul. Very friendly, warm soul. The concept is very complex and includes not only the Mexican menu, which is super interesting and very well developed. There is a great balance and complementarity with the interior, music and common mood at the place. You can meet many very pleasant people there. Very soft Latin jazz brings a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. The most interesting and tasty food for me was tlayuda. I've never tried to check when I lied to my friend's recommendation. And I can say it was great. The taste is fresh and balanced. And a Tlayuda was enough for me to feed well. I was looking for raw vegan options and there are really many of them. I recommend to all who come to Gili Air to visit Mexican cuisine because it feels like an iconic and pioneering place for Gili Air restaurants.

Absolutely amazed. Food was finger licking good. We have seen too many wars in recent weeks, this quiet place just found at the right time. I had the best Burrito in my life. Ingredients were so well picked and all were to a very high quality standard. Everything was served very nice and thoughtful. We had 3 courses and each one was a highlight. Also try their home made lemonade... delicious. Not to mention the absolutely friendly things. We were warmly welcomed and every question about food was answered to a high detail... they know what they are doing there. Restaurant itself looks so beautiful, open and welcoming. Even a pool was there.

The presentation was perfect and the food was good. Have better Mexican, but this is a very good dinner location on Gili Air. At sunset, so come early, late or book a table if you want to sit by the sea. The mint drink/Juice was great!

Really cool Mexican place in the middle of this paradise coast of Gili Air. We came here after sunset, so it was pretty dark and cozy, but a few mosquitoes. Wasn't really bugged with mosquitoes since we left Bali... Food and drinks are good when as mexican, but not very sharp. Very friendly and service-oriented staff.

Fantastic lunch here today! Best food we've had in over 2 weeks in Indonesia and would also be amazing quality Mexican food at home in UK. Brilliant drinks, great beach location and service was really friendly. Planning on coming again for dinner tomorrow it was so good.
