What Patrick B doesn't like about Johnsons Door County Fish Shrimp:
Terrible. This place is not good at all. The fish tasted bad and there was no cocktail sauce. Do not waste your time or money here. Just throw $16+ in the trash instead. View all feedback. What Mario L likes about Johnsons Door County Fish Shrimp:
Unfortunately this location is either not on par with the Bridgeport location or their ordering is different.Lawerences unique breading is of course always awesome but the size of the shrimp were nothing like I remember the last time I had their shrimp in the city. It was almost like a mixture of decent sized shrimp and small shrimp.I grew up going to Lawerences for shrimp and fish chips so I am very familiar with th... View all feedback.

read moreLawrence's in Hillside failed to live up to expectations with unseasoned, tasteless breaded seafood. The menu was mostly fried under new ownership, which was a letdown as the quality declined. However, Lawrence's was commended for fast service and cleanliness. Despite changes, the restaurant remained a great spot offering fried and broiled fish and shrimp. Some highlights included the Creole Shrimp Roll and the Smelt. The ambiance was comfortable with seaside décor and upbeat music. Overall, Lawrence's in Hillside offered some hits and misses, but with some standout items, it remained a recommended spot for a tasty meal.
