Tucked away on a quiet street in the town of Lomazzo is this gem of a restaurant which serves delicious dishes with a surprisingly high level of quality and sophistication which belie the simple surroundings. Scallops seared to perfection artfully presented with colourful sauces... pasta arrabbiata prepared with tomatoes so fresh you could practically smell the vine... the subtle harmony of seafood and vegetables with a dash of spicey sausage to enhance the flavour... Save room for dessert as the options are both scrumptious and innovative. Do not miss the restaurant twist on tiramisu.. all the flavours of traditional tiramisu in a lighter more delicate expression. This restaurant should not be missed. We have recently dined at two separate Michelin starred restaurants in Milan. Undoubtedly, the food at Di Vino is of a comparable quality. Service is friendly. Restaurant atmosphere is comfortable and unassuming.
The restaurant is large and yet they only have 7 tables in the main salon. This gives you a perfect opportunity to talk discretely. You don't get a menu board or book. The owner himself comes to the table and explains all the options to you. The food may take a while but that to me is a good sign. When dishes start to appear you will be presented with amazingly tasty and elaborate food. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Portions are great and let the owner advice you on the wine. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality! Don't go there if you are in a rush. This is food to enjoy!
Good quality of dishes and good wine list but need more service staffs.
Wonderful restaurant and very friendly service! Highly recommend it. From outside you’d never guess that the restaurant is so nice!
