After a stay in oslo we were the 2nd historiske kettehotel. the hotel room where we were large enough, but the rooms or this part of the hotel complex need a re... read more After a stay in oslo we were the 2nd historiske kettehotel. the hotel room where we were large enough, but the rooms or this part of the hotel complex need a renovation. the toilet programs are quite outdated. they have to go to the bath to take a shower. further example is the cabinet which has a coarse cabinet plate which could damage it cloths. the breakfast was in order and we would recommend eating in restaurant

The staff were genuine and very welcoming. The location is great, so many amazing hiking/skiing opportunities within an hour of the hotel. The dinner was great, the breakfast was good simplistic but tasty. We will certainly be back.

Lom is not the most obvious place to spend her holiday in norwegen. but it is worth planning and stopping one or more nights in fossheim turisthotell in lom. th... read more Lom is not the most obvious place to spend her holiday in norwegen. but it is worth planning and stopping one or more nights in fossheim turisthotell in lom. the old, charming hotel breathes history, but connects it with the comfort they expect today in a hotel. a very comfortable bed, some rooms with a balcony with magnificent views of the surroundings. the restaurant works with a fixed menu, although this can be because I visited from the season, but eating is an excellent standard. I enjoyed dinner. the breakfast is not as extensive as in the larger hotels, but still offers everything needed in the morning. all this is good that I give five stars. but unfortunately I can't give a sixth star in google. I had a problem when I should go. it snowed unexpectedly and it was far too uncertain that I drove to my next destination. the next hotel didn't just want to cancel my reservation, regardless of the dangerous circumstances on the streets. not only could I fortunately spend another night in the fossheim turisthotell, the friendly recipeist helped me in the negotiations with the next hotel to reduce the cancellation to 50% and afterwards she helped me complete a date for travel insurance. that is really much more than I could ask: it is so pleasant to see that the service is still written with a capital in charming places like this. Of course, in the second night I still have a menu in the restaurant. can I go back to fossheim turisthotell?

I will say some rooms and bathrooms could be easily accessible to those with limited mobility.
