Was Alison Sæther at Brimi Sæter a mag?
A super cozy mountain café offers Norwegian traditional dishes and drinks. You can choose to sit outside or inside (top). Try her sour cream bread (rømmegrøt)..the best I've ever eaten. You pay once and receive refill for your food View all feedback.

The location looks like a fairy tale. It is an open landscape, with mountains on the sides, right by the lake. We rented the biggest cabin when my family went there to celebrate my father's birthday. It has a very charming look. The cabin has 4 bedrooms, one connected to the living room. A small kitchen with freezer and fridge, a bathroom and a toilet. The food consists mainly of local dishes and tastes so good! The menu Skrå-på tå was a real exit experience with so many good tastes! The fish soup is the best I've ever tried (and I tried a few). In addition to eating, Hans Brimi played his fist and told legends and stories from his own life. Great service and you feel at home when you are here. Very recommended!

Beautiful location with many different agricultural animals that can be fed and with (height, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens and cats). The main attraction here is the Skråpåtå raclette 4-course dinner where you have a metal cage with red hot coal on your table that you use to melt their homemade cheese. There are also some stories in Norwegian about the history of the Farm/Sæter and the traditions of the area. Don't stay here if you're afraid of cows.

This is an adventure in time to go back and even smell. Many local dishes and drinks. Great atmosphere. Prices in the upper area. They make their own cheese.
