I used Yelp to help find a place to eat and I thought this place sound like a good place with all the reviews. When we walked in she asked if we had reservations and I looked around and thought this doesn't look like a pizza place or a casual grille atmosphere. Food was unique and clearly homemade. Everything we tried was delicious, 4 cheese pizza was amazing!
If you are wanting a quality dining experience without Chicago prices, consider Uptown Grille. The small, quaint space and well-trained and friendly staff make this a one-of-a-kind experience just south of Kankakee. The executive chef, Alessandro, is a northern Italian trained chef that has an incredible eye for detail that pairs well with his exploratory sense of flavor combinations. Real chef from Italy! Cozy decor,great staff, fair meal prices! The pizza was perfect! The pasta dynamic flavors! Worth the visit!
