I recently had a late business lunch at Yum Cha Cuisine in Westfield Garden City.WOW!!! Great food, well set up restaurant, very attentive staff. The food was sensational. Why go to a shopping centre food court when you can enjoy a full sit down meal for similar money.Take the kids, experience some culture that won't disappoint. View all feedback.
What Wilburn O'Connell doesn't like about Yum Cha Cuisine:
I ordered a lunch time treat - Bar-B-Que pork spare ribs - they were no treat. I could not eat them. I would say 98% of the ribs were pure fat. I have never experienced food so off putting View all feedback.
I was in another yum cha cuisine (hyperdome,) so I knew about what to expect. they immediately told us that they did some training (with new employees) and that would be okay. the service was still good and friendly. that came, fast and was beautiful. the setting felt very relaxed and there were many employees who needed to grab when they needed something else.
The staff was friendly, but the service was very slow. they forgot some dishes. Eating was okay, but very overpriced. will not go back.
First, I gave this rating 2 stars, mainly due to the new menu prices. I could have given 3 stars, but I don't think that would reflect the truth of this review. while eating was still very good, and the service of the...staff very attentive and friendly, along with the fast delivery of directed, the new menu and exorbitant price increase made a very bad taste in our mouth. Now I don't think that a regular size court of special roast rice is worth $23.00 somewhere in the world, and most of the not yum cha menu was good over $25.00 with some straight up from $30.00 and closer to $40.00 add to that the obviously decline of the choice and wide, I think they try to press the yum cha menu to most. also the price increase in yum cha is much too high, with aligning start a $7.00, most at $8-9 and pretty few at $10.00, only for 3-4 knödel. this will be my last visit here, there is a newer one near Chinese restaurants with much more affordable menus and more choice also. very disappointed from the venue.
Was offered water and said yes, please was charged $7 for water. small fried pork $23. for very underwhelming food, it is unlikely expensive.
We are returned customers! Our group are very unsatisfied! Friendly staff but unfortunately food not as we remembered! Very ordinary food but very expensive for the small servings we got! Will not recommend nor come back again!
