Food is alright but service is slow and also they can't seem to cope with our orders. Also I ordered what was supposed to be dry noodles and it turned out to be in the soup View all feedback.
On our way to the Carindale Shopping Centre my partner gets a "hunger attack" and needs food quickly. Four minutes later we are parked in front of the Vietnamese Hut at Runcorn Plaza. This restaurant looks very clean and the friendly Vietnamese waitress guides us to our table. We place our orders and within minutes the lunchtime crowd of Vietnamese and Koreans start filing in. Two large bowls of piping hot steaming soup noodles arrive. Good presentation and a sip of both soups confirms to me the culinary skills of the chef. My partner's Pho (Combination) Dac Biet broth is excellent, noodles fresh with a big serve of sliced beef, raw beef and smaller serve of beef tendon and tripe. Rating: 5.0/5.0 My spicy Bun Bo Hue is close to perfect. I had to remove some chilli oil from the broth but I know some diners like the extra oil. The steaming super-hot soup in Winter really does it for me. There is so much sliced beef and sliced pork hock, the meat-eater... read more
A small quiet restaurant at a small shopping centre with some pretty tasty food. With the recent cooling of weather, I've been dropping in to have some rare beef pho which I like here. I would rate it a 4. When Mrs Kan Do joined me for dinner she ordered a spicy lemongrass chicken with rice, which was a bit too oily and could have been a bit more flavoursome. We would rate it a 2.5-3. The grilled pork chop with rice, seafood with rice, beef casserole and fried rice have all been quite tasty here from my past visits. The wait staff are Sunnybank standard - adequate at best. Overall, a restaurant with pretty decent food at good prices. I don't like that there is an eftpos surcharge, but that is a minor complaint.
Tried their pho, it was good but not excellent. Passable.Compared to my favourite restaurant, but of course I am a little bias. Service was good and decor was nice.
Have to agree with previous reviews about the pho, (not as good as some of the pho we have had in other restaurants in Brissy) however we found the rest of the offerings to be quite authentic. The service is good & the vegetables are always nice & fresh. Love the tofu hotpot.

Rating: 4.5/5.0 What a pleasant surprise to find a quality Vietnamese restaurant in the Warrigal area. We will have to return and try some other dishes on the menu. Well done Vietnamese Hut!
