I have been to this restaurant quite a few times over the years but of late they have produced excellent meals I usually order the Lunch steak which is a 200grm rump steak and has always been cooked to my liking medium rare and they have a two die for blue cheese sauce that compliments it. What User doesn't like about The Newnham Hotel Restaurant:
We used to eat here all the time and I've had some pretty dodgy meals, fly in the schnitzel crumb, plastic in a steak burger but this was by far the worst meal ever for the whole family of 5. Rude service and wouldn't follow through on something advertised. Meals were disgusting! Garlic bread tasted like it was reheated in microwave and all of our meals except one were burnt. The service at this restaurant was exceptional, with a happy and pleasant attitude. Our drinks were ordered and served by very friendly bar staff, and we were welcomed by the manager who explained the menu for the day. The birthday boy even received a lovely bottle of wine as a compliment, making our experience the absolute best!
Whenever I dine at Newnham, I can't resist ordering the parmi. It is just the right size, with a perfect amount of chips and salad. I never leave without indulging in this delicious dish.
The chicken carving is a fantastic dish. Served with fries and salad on the side, it will surely satisfy even the biggest appetites. Delicious!
After lunch on the 19th juni, the new menu is again in good solid pub food, well presented and generous portions!
Went for lunch here today 12/5/19 and my family and I were very pleased. We booked online and our table was there ready and waiting for us. The food was amazing and so delicious we all went home on a full stomach. The service was...outstanding and the staff were all happy and very efficient. Thank you once again for our delicious lunch and the great service, keep up the good work.
