read moreThe restaurant has received mixed reviews, with some diners feeling that the food was overpriced and not up to par, especially for vegetarians. Issues with dishes such as honey chicken and salt and pepper squid were highlighted, with some customers feeling that the quality was lacking. Despite these negative experiences, one reviewer praised Sunny Court as the best Sichuan restaurant in Queensland, recommending authentic dishes such as Chongqing Lazi Ji and Mapodofu. Another reviewer enjoyed the Peking-style duck burgers, finding them delicious and a pleasant surprise. Overall, while there were some disappointing experiences, there are also bright spots to be found at the restaurant, particularly for those looking for authentic Sichuan cuisine.
