I'm originally from western Sydney where you can get Lebanese sweets around the corner so I was stoked to find one in Brisbane. The sweets are real tasty and I could have eaten the whole shop! The lady was very nice and helpful. Would definitely go there again! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sooo Sweet:
Macarons are a French delicacy. Once enjoyed in a good providore in France, any future 'taste testing' is referenced to the sublime flavours served on France. Sweet Hands' product is overly sweet, and as a consequence any inherent flavour is lost. Tried different ones...and each just tasted of sugar! If you crave an American style sickly sweet Macaron, this will be your 'go to' View all feedback.
Macarons are a French delicacy. In France, they are known for their exquisite flavors and aromas. However, the macarons served at this particular restaurant were overly sweet, causing the unique flavors to be lost. Each macaron tasted like pure sugar. If you prefer a sweeter, American-style macaron, this may be the place for you.
After hearing about this café on the Ainsley Harriot Market Show, we decided to give it a try. Three of us ordered a plate of desserts to share along with some coffee. Only one of the Smolina sweets was particularly sweet. We each purchased a dessert to take home for $15, which was beautifully presented on a sturdy plastic plate and wrapped in cellophane. We're excited to go back and try more options, as there is a wide variety to choose from.
I stopped by for a coffee and a pastry but ended up leaving with half a kilo of sweets. The café had a wide variety of delicious treats. I had never tried Lebanese sweets before and had a hard time deciding. The young lady working there was very helpful and explained everything to me, even offering some samples. I ended up buying some tasty baklavas with pistachio and walnut. It was hard not to eat them all in one sitting. I will definitely be going back soon.
Because with my family, the salesman obviously has a bad attitude there, he was common for customers before me and then for us, we were nice to him, and at the same time he was arrogant, he did not even smile, he held...hopping between us and other customers without ending our order. After all, we had to go without buying something because he just left us. needs a great customer service improvement, and perhaps some yoga to relax his face muscles, so that he can serve his customers with a smile.
Sooo Sweet have so many Lebanese and Mediterranean sweets and pastries, baked fresh each day. All their sweets and pastries are delicious, and the lady making them is generous and kind. I especially love their Baklava (made with pistachios) and Maamoul Maad (made with dates,...walnuts or pistachios). I have been there a few times with my loved ones and we plan to go again. I recommend Sooo Sweet to anyone wanting a treat with a coffee, or a platter of sweets and pastries to take home.
