What Savanna Bernhard doesn't like about Pho Hung Vietnamese:
cold, costly, blanching, they used the wrong tofu for the salt and pfeffer tofu, it was so hard and dry it reminded me of the start of rambo when john rambo stones in the sun as any kind of prison sentenced to crush, I always wish that rambo would turn and crush my tofu so that I could try a piece in my mouth and fit. the stir fry looked like a kind of black suppe instead of a stir fry but this is in this phase ok I... First time visit I'll be back. Took a friend from out of town to try somewhere different. Food was delicious, serving sizes good if I had to complain about the service it would only be to say they were asking us if we...were ready to order a couple of mins after sitting down (hadn't even had a chance to look at the menu). Next time I will be ordering Pho as I hear it's amazing at this place. If you go and there's not many ppl there, don't be put off. In the time we were there it went from empty to full pretty quick glad we decided to stay.
Small busy bright little eatery, with well flavoured food, salt pepper prawns aside. Their version of chilli chicken was spicy flavoursome.there fried rice was very nice with the slight burnt flavour was a great twist for the palate, which we really enjoyed....Service is quick efficient. I would go there again.
This restaurant is not as popular as the other Vietnamese restaurant in Market Square. It only seems to fill up when the other restaurant has too long a queue to get in. In fourteen years I have only on a handful of occasions seen a...queue at this restaurant, but if I walk past the other one at lunch or dinner time it usually has a queue. This place is more expensive and the food quality is less consistent. Our family has dined at both numerous times over the past decade. I recently had my worst experience at this restaurant. The satay chicken skewers were dry and hard, I don’t think they had been freshly cooked. The meat was almost as hard as the wooden skewer it was served on. This was disappointing because they are usually not that bad at all. The other elements of the meal were quite good. The service is consistently very good. I will return one day, but for now I have been put off
My partner and me had dinner here we had the seafood hotpot was good heaps of veggies and seafood soup was good I think it was fish stock soup in the hot pot is was pritty big for one person even know it said it...was a mini hotpot drinks they have the 3 and 4 colour Vietnamese drinks here to also the som bao luong which was really nice the service was ok food was good drinks were nice.
Visited the restaurant on Saturday. Was just the thing an a rainy day to warm you up. Flavourful food at a reasonable price. Clean restaurant and fast service.
