Feedback
Aroi Mak, a new restaurant in Malapascua, offers authentic and delicious Thai cuisine at reasonable prices. While some reviewers found the service lacking and the menu options limited, others praised the unique dining experience and tasty dishes such as spicy crab and coconut chicken soup. Despite some slow service, most diners enjoyed their meals and expressed interest in returning to try more of the restaurant's offerings. With a hidden gem quality compared to other restaurants on Bounty beach, Aroi Mak is a recommended stop for those seeking a flavorful and affordable dining experience in the area.
If you like Thai food, it's very authentic. It was excellent. Good service and nice atmosphere. It's right on the beach facing the village harbor where all of the boats come in.I ate at several resturants in Malapascua in the week that I was there and this was by far the best food I had
We ordered like six dishes, no one of them available. No one vegetable dish in the menu available! So we left and they charged a bottle of beer even we didn't start! Bad start for a new restaurant. I understand now why was empty everyday.... never will go back again!
I like the Thai experience as we all sat on the ground to eat (with cushions behind us). Overall, great experience! The staff brought Madee some birthday sweets to start off our meal.
The food at this restaurant was very good, but the service was slow and we were bothered by many mosquitoes. The prices were very affordable. The calamari was excellent. The restaurant suffered damage from Typhoon Ursula, but hopefully they will be back up and running soon. One downside was dealing with the mosquitoes, as they seemed to like us more than we liked them.
