Outside the restaurant is misleading as the interior is much nicer and has a good atmosphere. The service was excellent! The food was very good, and the Chili Colorado is more like a classic chili stew. It was very good, but the Chicano Steak was even better and more like Chili Colorado at other Mexican restaurants. What Ily Holt doesn't like about Habanero Hots:
Eating food out of a can would 've been the same if not better experience than we had here! from the 10 minutes it took to seat us in an empty restaurant, to the 20 minutes to be asked about drinks. this definitely isn 't a good or fast restaurant. all burritos came wet and more like enchiladas. my friends tasted like a $1 stew with a tortilla on top and mine was inedible. it tastes like pizza sauce was used to drown... The service was great. Waitresses were friendly. The food was not seasoned at all. Cooked fresh and presentation of the meals were nice, but everyone with me agreed not seasoned.
By it being Father's Day we had about 10-15 min. wait W/reservations. Not bad for a party of 14. Service was good 20wait for the food. That went by fast because of the fellowship. Food was good.
This was our first time there. We were just passing through and happen to find it. The staff there were all super nice. The salsa and food was tasty and authentic and great portions. The Mazcuel Old Fashion was good! Especially the burning show infront of us.
First time ever being here even though I've known about it for many years. I was not disappointed
My tacos were the bomb, my son loved his burrito, the service was awesome. Loved the feel of the place
