This restaurant is just okay. The BBQ sauce doesn't taste authentic and the smoked turkey sandwich is too expensive. Neither the smoked turkey nor the BBQ sandwich impressed my taste buds. However, when I tried the tri tip in January it was delicious. I ordered it again in July and it was different. If you ever want to go through Lodi or make a jaunt about this little jewel, you will probably not be disappointed. The tin roof makes BBQ very good. If you like barbeque, you will love the food. I've tried several dishes now and everyone was delicious.
Very nice BBQ, can definitely taste smell the real thing. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, all excellent even the BBQ salad was great! Mac Cheese Fried Orkra, coleslaw, corn bread all excellent as well. Friendly fast staff. Prices are reasonable for the product they put out.
Very good bbq place. Good service. Average price. I had a tritip sandwich and fried okra. Would definitely go back when I'm in town.
Great bbq that delivers. Quick service, tasty smoke flavor, great smells. I came for the brisket and was not disappointed. The coleslaw was rich. The cornbread was a surprise hit. Sweet like cake, little crunch from cornmeal, perfection. Macaroni and cheese were rich and creamy. Potato salad was very good, chunks of soft potato, with tart mustard, and carrot+paprika for color. Delicious. Plenty of seating inside, large groups could be accommodated with some planning.
As i pulled up I can smell that bbq My taste buds are jumping for joy. I walk through the door. I was greeted by a well mannered gentleman. Whom kindly got my to go order.
