Not just another pizza joint ???? You may already know GWF is known for its excellent food, great selection of local wine beer and friendly servers ????What you may not know is how cool the atmosphere is here ?? Very laid back and comfortable but not thetypical pizza dining crowd. Outside seating is especially comfortable IMO. There are a few small tables outside under theprotection of umbrellas for those sunny afternoons in summer and early fall. You can have a drink while you wait to be seated.If you get there ANYDAY after 6:00, there will be a short wait. Well worth it though! Locals love this place. At least the onesI know. Located off the beaten path. Not the norm where most successful restaurants are located in the downtown area. Everythingthey make from appetizers, salads and pizza are very tasty and prepared to perfection. Try something a little different? Checkout the pepperoni pizza Nick?s way. With a hint of honey and the right amount of Ricotta cheese, you will find it surprisinglytasty. There?s something about the hint of honey that really makes it pop. For that matter you won?t be disappointed with any oftheir dishes. If you?re from out of the area and have a couple of casual dinners planned, I recommend dropping by to see foryourself. Great spot not far from downtown Lodi. Cool and very reasonably priced wine list, and the pizza is genuinely phenomenal. Full of flavor and the crust is amazing. Definitely worth the stop.

Don?t sleep on the small plates! They are so creative and delicious. Like Michelin delicious. Not to mention the pizza. Everything from the crust, sauce, topping is so well thought out and balanced. The menu changes with whatever ingredients are inseason. I?m so happy to have a place of this culinary caliber close to home.

A foodies Paradise! My husband and I traveled from Modesto for date night here and he?s still raving about how amazing everything was. Food is artfully crafted, atmosphere is clean and inspiring, service is inviting and attentive. If I could give10 stars I would!

Just visiting and read such great reviews, so the 4 of us went and it was crazy busy, we took 4 stools at the bar overlooking the kitchen and WOW, got to watch all those amazing dishes being prepared and the dance in that tiny space...like everyone wasin sync and in tune to each other...moving back and forth and wielding the long pizza paddle going in and out of that wood firedpizza oven.
