We ate here 2 months ago apparently new ownership. The ownership was lovely and the chef excellent. Can't wait to go back. I think it was a German restaurant,now Italian. View all feedback.

Great food and service! We had dinner here, and the price per person was between $30 and $50.
The appetizers presented some pleasantly surprising choices— the Tuscan Onion Arancini and Short Rib Sliders offered a delicious Italian twist on familiar favorites. For our main course, both my companion and I opted for the halibut, which was exquisitely paired with a truffle lobster risotto that complemented it perfectly. The staff was efficient and courteous, showing that the new management has successfully infused a more Continental European ambiance into this Locust Valley favorite, making it an excellent spot for an elegant dining experience. The management actively mingled with guests, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring everyone had a wonderful time and improving upon the previous management's efforts. They've created a warm yet intimate environment that honors the long-standing tradition of this Locust Valley gem. On the night we visited, it was clear that all the patrons were enjoying themselves immensely. This would be a fantastic venue for hosting a birthday party, engagement dinner, or corporate event. I look forward to seeing how this beautiful restaurant evolves in the coming months. Cheers to their success!
