Birch Hill Market - LOCUST VALLEY

I visit this market nearly every week, and it has everything you could possibly need and more. It's a charming little spot packed with all the essentials. This morning, I went in looking for steaks for dinner. While I was on the phone discussing what I needed, one of the employees, Shawn, overheard me and kindly offered his assistance. He helped me find the perfect steaks for my dinner with my boyfriend, and even arranged for the butcher to marinate them for me. Shawn really went above and beyond to make my dinner plans a success. It’s refreshing to visit a place where help is readily offered, and I left feeling positive and satisfied. Thank you, Shawn, for being so helpful and making my morning much easier than I expected. The prices are too high, and the staff often appears to have an unwelcoming demeanor.

The service was friendly and the food was excellent. Over the past two weeks, we've had the pleasure of enjoying the halibut, sea bass, crab cakes, ribs, and more.

This local market on the North Shore offers the finest meats, prepared foods, and fish. We've been loyal customers for over 20 years!

The owner is very rude and seemingly uninterested. Given the prices he charges, he should really be more courteous.
