Panera Bread - Lockport
Panera Bread
Description
At a local Panera Bread, diners report a mixed bag of experiences characterized by inconsistent food quality and service woes. Frequent complaints revolve around incorrect and delayed orders, with many patrons noting a lack of responsive management. While the atmosphere is inviting and the staff sometimes display commendable customer service, issues with portion sizes and cold meals persist. Some guests praise specific dishes like the mac and cheese and soups, yet others find the high prices unjustified given the quality. Overall, while there are highlights, the restaurant struggles to meet expectations consistently, leaving customers frustrated with their visits.

This is one of the most inconsistent locations I?ve ever been to. For the soups not even being made fresh in the kitchen boy do they have a inconsistency every time. A month ago I ordered bowls of broccoli cheddar soups rapid pick up I came home to findthe soups were somehow mixed with the chicken noodle soup. Fine. I go back a few weeks later my soup is extremely watery tothe point of just broth. Whatever. I go back today my soup is extremely chunky to the point it was like stew made me lose myappetite. For it being frozen pre made it sure is different every time. I always give places the benefit on the doubt like ifthey are short staffed or busy, etc. but every time I come it seems to me empty something is still always wrong. Every time Ido curbside pick up I end up waiting a good 10 minutes while I see my food sitting on the shelf the cafe empty. The onlyreason I come here still is because it?s the closest to my house but unfortunately I just may stop going to Panera altogether.
As a member of the Sip Club, I've been visiting for coffee and Diet Pepsi over the past couple of months. However, I've noticed that the Diet Pepsi often has an odd taste. I'm tempted to check the dispenser to ensure it's clean, as it should be serviced every night. The coffee is usually only warm at best. Although I have managed to get a hot cup at 6 AM, it's rare to find one that’s hot in the afternoon or evening. Their mango drinks and similar beverages seem to be replenished as needed, but it's concerning that fresh ingredients are simply added on top of the old ones. While the Sip program offers good value for unlimited drinks at $11.99 per month, I might consider canceling if the quality of the drinks I enjoy doesn't improve.
I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but this location has consistently let us down with our orders. During our last three visits, we either received incomplete orders or items that were made incorrectly. We order online and specify a pick-up time, yet our orders have not been ready on time for our last three visits. Most recently, our order was 25 minutes late, despite being placed 45 minutes in advance. The management seems indifferent to these issues, and when we express our concerns, they say there's nothing they can do to help. When the food is prepared correctly, it's quite tasty; however, it's disappointing that the soup and hot sandwiches are often served cold.
The service was incredibly slow, even though there were only two small orders in front of mine. When my food arrived, it was missing the chips and spoons for the soup. Furthermore, the prices are exorbitant given the quality and quantity of the food.
