This is a wonderful restaurant, although a bit pricey due to the lockdown restrictions, but they offer a lot of takeout options.
What an amazing experience! We took the bus to Brodick Distillery, arriving just in time for the 12 o'clock guided tasting with Billy. It was a fantastic hour filled with lots of information and, of course, tasting the distillery's offerings. Billy was a wonderful host and we ended up purchasing one of the special edition bottles with liqueur and art prints. Having done many distillery tours before, we were thrilled to find something unique and we also enjoyed the variety of whiskies they had available. I would definitely return just for the shop and the cafe, as both offered delicious local fare in a stunning setting on the campus.
We were unable to take a tour of the restaurant due to the ferry/bus schedules, but we visited the café and enjoyed some delicious food and drinks instead. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly (they even checked on our ferry departure time), and we were able to sample some tasty whisky even without the tour.
Tour was fantastic. In-depth without being overwhelming. Our guide Pam was absolutely amazing and can't speak highly enough of her. Well worth the visit and the whisky was, somehow, even better than the tour!!
We had the best time here. Tour was interesting, whiskey was delicious and the staff were very friendly. (Tour guide Sarah did a great job despite feeling less than 100% . We had lunch at the cafe after and the sandwiches were lovely! Were very impressed at the value for money for the whole experience, we even got to keep our little glasses from the tour! It's a must-visit.
