Unfortunately, this restaurant bar is now closed. I hope it reopens sometime in the future! It offered affordable appetizers, a diverse dinner menu, and multiple TV screens for all the sports games. Cuddy's will be greatly missed. View all feedback.
What Jesse Zimmerman doesn't like about Mcgillicuddy's Lakeside Taphouse:
Terrible experience. I sat outside on the patio for 35 minutes without being served. I even asked the waitress for menus, but I never received them. Eventually, I just decided to leave. View all feedback.
I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs. Service is terrible and food took over an hour to come out. When it came out it was cold and the prime rib was grey in color. We ended up walking out due to the immense disrespect and they tried to tell us we had to pay for the food we ordered. We laughed at them and just left.DO NOT COME HERE. YOU WILL NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I love the McGillicuddys Salad! Great time, every time!
I write this review shaking with anger and embarrassment. I am horrified by the blatant antisemitic prejudice that I just experienced. I 'm in New Jersey visiting family for the weekend and I came in to McGillicuddy 's hoping to enjoy some drinks and food. The second I walked in, a rude waitress barked at us that if we aren 't eating we can 't sit. I didn 't get a chance to reply as she repeated herself aggressively. Without a retort, we quietly sat down to eat. Now for the second time, this waitress (Chelsea, I believe) repeats herself and rudely added in and don 't even think fries count! I finally hit my limit and replied, do you have a problem with us??? Her response was, you people do this all the time, you take up space and don 't order anything but fries and drinks as she said you people she pointed directly at the other 6 Jewish people in the bar. I don 't know how else to take that comment, it 's hard to believe that in our day and age someone would call you out, judge you, and lump you in with a group of people based on your ethnicity or religion. We obviously left immediately. I wish I could say I left feeling angry but mostly I just felt on the brink of tears, sad and despondent. To add insult, after leaving a friend of mine received a text message from a friend who stayed at the bar. The two waiters high fived and congratulated eachother on scaring us away. Their exact words were, yeah! F them! P.S I would like to add in, I 'm proud of the way my group of 6 friends handled themselves. Immense respect, no one answered her aggression with any aggression. So I guess, Us people can 't be too bad.
Love the atmosphere, today it was very breezy. Great drinks and fabulous food.
This restaurant is average at best. The food is sub-par the service is crappy overall not a good choice given all the restaurants in the area.
