Guests love the scenic views, house specialties and live music at Loboc Rioverview; complaints focus on slow service, small portions, spotty Wi‑Fi and mosquitoes.

Review for the Restaurant, Not the Resort: The prices seem reasonable until the food arrives. We ordered Lemon Chicken, but we only received five small pieces of chicken with a slice of lemon on top. The Chopsuey was decent, but the portion was quite small. The Sinigang was flavorful, but it only included tomatoes as the vegetables. To make matters worse, our order was served late due to a mix-up in the kitchen. The service was slow and poorly organized; it even took us 15 minutes to get the bill. As for the restaurant's atmosphere, it was clean but needed better lighting and more fans. We dined in the evening and had to contend with mosquitoes and insufficient lighting. However, on weekends, they feature live music with a singer, which adds a bit of charm. Overall, I would recommend dining here only if you have a lot of patience.

The hotel is no longer in operation, but Agoda is still accepting advance bookings and payments.

This hotel is a quiet and conveniently located choice if you're interested in the nearby SUP paddle board tour or the Firefly tour. The hotel has a charming atmosphere, but our room, at least, felt somewhat cramped—especially the bathroom and shower, which measured about 1.5x1.5 meters. Occasionally, the WiFi was slow or completely unavailable. The food offered is rather basic; for the price, I think you can find better options with larger portions elsewhere. Because of this, we opted to buy food from a local market (which is close to the hotel) and asked the staff to cook it for us for a preparation fee. On a positive note, there are two adorable small dogs that are playful and sweet—definitely my favorite part of the stay. Additionally, the view of the rice fields is lovely.

This place no longer exists! Agoda will reserve you a room, take your money, and then refuse a refund! This has to be a crime!!!!!!

Food is good. Must try their house special. Pork humba is very good, grilled chicken is good and also their sweet sour dishes were superb. A very quite as a resort. Price of rooms are very reasonable.

More information

The restaurant will cook fresh ingredients you buy from the nearby market for a small preparation fee—many guests used this to get bigger portions or fresher seafood. Two small, friendly dogs live on the property and are a frequent hit with visitors. Live music usually appears on weekend evenings, making those nights the most atmospheric. If you dine late outdoors, bring or request insect repellent/seat near a fan—mosquitoes and dim lighting have been noted after dark.
