What Kelly Wilcox doesn't like about Illtud's 216:
Strange and dingey decor, waitresses were very attentive and nice. As for the food, absolutely terrible. I had a lasagne which was thick tough and dry, no creaminess to it just lots of rich tomato sauce. Husband had curried chicken breast, chicken was overcooked and dry with a badly made curry sauce and oddly served with overcooked seasonal veg. Won't be returning Service: Dine in View all feedback.

We regularly visit Illtud’s 216 as a couple, with family and with friends. Food is consistently top notch and the atmosphere and service is always warm and welcoming. We were very excited to take advantage of the new takeout service last night and the food was as good as ever! Of a high quality and extremely delicious.
1st time diners and very impressed. Varied menu, tasty food and good service. Surprised it was so empty
I had the most delicious lunch here, last week. Scallops to start, then mussels for my mains. I was too full for dessert, so went back in the evening for the classic Austrian Apfel Strudel. The food, atmosphere, service staff are outstanding.
The building itself is really impressive. The food is at a high standard and having been there a handful of times and tried different things they have all been great.
