What User doesn't like about Sushimama:
Been there several times, I cannot complain about the food, BUT their new and only internet reservation system with a huge form and a reservation fee is simply NoGo. A perfect example of arrogance because Ljubljana is crowded with tourists. Tourists come and go but I won't come again. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
Fantastic restaurant with a small and precise selection of Japanese dishes. The service is as professional as you would expect from a first-class restaurant. Love it.
Delicious sushi. Very fresh ingredients, the cocktails are great too. Good prices.
Good sushi, but the tempura is the star of the show here. The tempura prawns and veggies were a real delight. Dishes are a little on the pricey side, but that's to be expected for any sushi restaurant. The only dish that didn't quite hit the mark was the teriyaki chicken with mango. In Japan, teriyaki chicken is typically served on rice with a little extra teriyaki sauce to give the rice some flavour. The teriyaki chicken in Sushimama is quite dry with very little sauce. It was more like eating a bowl of boiled rice with grilled chicken and felt overpriced at eighteen EUROS. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It gets busy so either book ahead or arrive late (kitchen is open until 10pm.

A wonderful surprise. Real Japanese restaurant in the heart of Lubiana. The best toro (fatty tuna) I had eat out of Japan.
