Even if the food is not the most important thing about this experience it was delicious! So many funny tastes and completely different experience of food and enviroment when you can't see. 2,5 hours goes by really fast. Open your mind and be prepared to sharpen your senses. VISA card accepted. Waiters speak Slovenian and English.

Dinner in the dark is certainly a new and unforgettable experience for me. A really high-end experience of cuisine and eating. I recommend to all lovers of good food.

I knew for Dans la noir, because it started in France, but i never had a chance to visit it, so i decided to check Slovenian one, because it had a lot of positive reviews. We were brought to a dining room in 120% darkness and were welcomed by a host, who is genuinely blind. During the whole course of dinner, we tried every dish not just with their tastes, but also the sense of touch with hands struggling to guess what they are and how they look. We couldn’t guess all of them even though some are so common and we have tried many times before. Nevertheless, the idea of such an experience is to raise awareness and funds to those with visual impairs for improvements in their lives, which the initiative should be much appreciated. It was one of the best memories from Ljubljana, even if everything else was amazing too. I would totally recommend it!

Loved it! I was playing a tourist in my home city, when I noticed a bit unusual experience on the list of the rainy day activities in Hotel Union. I was a bit sceptical on the start, because the price is a bit high, but I ended up in complete dark room with one of the most unique experiences I ever had. Food was good, but the flow of the dinner is something else. I would recommend it and I would even say that everybody needs to try it!
