Haven Market - Livingston Manor

The Market is charming and cozy. They offer excellent produce and have some raw vegan options available for those who follow a raw vegan diet.

This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and I really appreciate the values of the nonprofit behind it. They offer a nice range of fresh produce, and I loved that all the food prepared on-site is organic, gluten-free, and vegan. I tried the mushroom quesadilla, which was quite tasty. The tortilla was excellent—great texture, not dry, and held everything together well. The homemade sour cream was absolutely amazing! I felt it could have had a bit more spice, but it was definitely enjoyable. The blueberry cookie was a good option for a healthier treat, and I liked the hint of cardamom in it. I also had the Brussels sprouts vegetable soup, which I really enjoyed—flavorful and healthy!

This restaurant is a fantastic option, especially in rural upstate New York. The staff are incredibly friendly and well-informed, creating a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like a cozy retreat. The quesadilla was outstanding, and the chili was equally delicious. They offer a wide selection of fresh organic produce, snacks, and ready-to-eat meals. Everything is completely vegan, with the exception of some local honey. I’m really pleased to support this establishment, as we need more places like it!

The wonderful team at Haven met us at the door, invited us in, and gave us a full tour. What wonderfully find folks! We shopped the ready made fridge which contains limited items to avoid overproduction and food waste. To this point, they limit the number of items each person can buy so that one person won’t wipe out the supply. We ordered fresh made soup from the kitchen counter and cookies at the register. The kitchen also heated up our food items from the ready made case which was awesome of them to offer! We sat in the sunny side of the porch and ate while sitting on hay balesso fun The whole vibe and delicious healthy food had us feeling so great!

Wow. Local adorable family-run plant-based market that you don't want to miss if you're in the Catskills. Not only is all the produce organic and mostly from local farms but its also sold at wholesale prices to make it affordable for all. They also make in-house grab n go plant based wraps, sandwiches, and desserts that are soooo freaking delicious.
