The resort has three recreational areas: the high-altitude huts of M'eating Point and Camanel di Planon, which can also be reached by foot via the lifts, and the Kosmo Taste the Mountain restaurant in the valley, at the cable car's starting point. The resort boasts a snowpark with over 60 facilities. It's possible to climb to the resort's highest point, Monte della Neve (2,785 m), which offers stunning and picturesque views.

The structure looks new and modern, and once you take the lift up, the view is absolutely breathtaking. Compared to other ski resorts, the skipass prices are actually quite reasonable.A special mention for the rental service — they were super professional and friendly, and for the first time ever, I got ski boots that fit perfectly and didn’t hurt at all.I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars because buying a ticket was unnecessarily complicated. I already had a Snowit card and bought the pass through the Mottolino website, but I couldn’t upload it to the card. The automated pick-up machines didn’t work, and I ended up having to get a new card with a deposit from the front desk, where the staff wasn’t particularly welcoming. For a place that looks so modern, Mottolino’s online systems and ticketing process could use improvement — it feels like multiple websites handle passes differently.Also, as a beginner, I specifically chose Mottolino for its blue run down to the valley, but the slope was closed that day even though there was plenty of snow. It seemed like it just hadn’t been groomed, which was a bit disappointing.
