Beautiful views directly at the Gastonsee. Can take boats and jet skis in and out while eating. Baked shrimps and oysters were excellent and the frits were beautiful and crispy! Very pleasant meal. View all feedback.

We ate here while on summer vacation. We drove up via boat to the dock. We got there at about 5:50 PM right before the dinner rush. We were seated immediately and our waitress got our drink and appetizer order quickly. My group of 6 got everything from a house salad, to a burger, to the Chicken Philly cheesesteak, to seafood combinations. The food was good, but nothing special. The place doesn?t really have a great a... View all feedback.
The restaurant offers stunning views right by Lake Gaston. You can watch boats and jet skis come and go while you dine. The baked shrimp and oysters were outstanding, and the fries were wonderfully crispy! It was a very enjoyable meal.
Wow! I had lunch here with a small group, and it was an amazing experience. Our server, Jordan, provided wonderful and attentive service. His charming personality and dedication to customer experience truly stood out. We ended up staying for three hours, and both he and the manager, Rich, checked in on us to ensure all our needs were met. Everyone enjoyed their meal choices from the new low season menu. The pork tacos were a standout and are highly recommended! The venue itself is fantastic, featuring various seating areas. If you're by the lake, be sure to take in the view—it's lovely!
I had the pleasure of dining here multiple times last year, and I always found the food to be delicious and served with a smile. The service is consistently prompt, even during peak season. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Gaston Lake stop by for lunch or dinner—you won’t be disappointed! And let me tell you, the Clam Chowder is the best I've ever tasted from my travels along the East Coast; I've ordered it countless times!
Good food, great views of the lake, but the building needs help. Never mind. I definitely come back. Try it, you?
Went on a Monday evening. As we were a large party, we called ahead and was told tables were available. Got there and was told 35 to 45 min wait. The hostess was empathetic and the sun set as we were waiting was breath taking. Once we got our table, the waitress was great and the food amazing (nice to be able to have fish from the lake. I took the grilled catfish ? . It was totally worth it! Would love to go back.
