Our first visit. Cocktails are great, they have Russian Standard my favorite vodka. The hummas and French onion soup were a delight. Decor is reminiscence of a speak easy. We will be back to work our way thru the rest of the menu and report back View all feedback.
What Emelie Cummerata doesn't like about Atlas:
Nice new place. But I wouldn't go if it weren't for the band they have. I'm sure that's how they make their money because the food isn't that great and not really anywhere to sit. Do I really need eccentric drinks when I'm listening to jazz? Nah. Just a cold beer and good food which makes me buy more beer and more food. If you don't go early especially on the weekends, you won't have a seat. Then people are standing... View all feedback.
This was late at a week night and as you would expect it wasn't busy. Definitely an elevated place. Did the quiet atmosphere really like. The bartender was attentive, but never intrusive. Great place for a date. I know what it's like when it's busy.
A very slick old school jazzy style lounge bar. The menu consisted of some very worldwide but familiar dishes. The Turkish Köfte was very tasty. The steak with Chimichurri topping (my next dish there) looked delicious. We listened to a Jazz band ... the room had great acoustics. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. The clientele was good mix of diversity.
New place, went for drinks/dinner on Friday, was pretty crowded. Really cool decor with a speakeasy type vibe. We tried a few different cocktails like the Oaxaca old fashioned, grey eyed goddess, me so thorny, and a pimm's cup, all very good; service was good. Food menu is confusing says international small plates, but they're definitely entree size. The thai beef salad and fried rice were ok, but for the price prob better to just go to a southeast asian place for this type of food. Small plates seem optimal for a speakeasy place where drinks are the main attraction. The layout when you walk in kinda leads you to expect a host stand to be there, but there isn't. When we came in someone jogged over from the bar and IDed us and got us a table, but it seemed pretty random. Sometimes people just wandered in and other times someone was there... Will definitely give it another try in the future because its so new. Cool concept, i just dont understand the restaurant part of it.
The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. The seating and the wide selection of drinks and international dishes on the menu.
Beautiful, picturesque bar just steps from our loft. I'm glad we found this jewel. We love the band Pattern Blu. The drinks are great, food is good and wait staff friendly. This is our little secret. It is a great addition to SOMA!!
