John Sonia's Luncheonette

I’ve been coming here for several years and I keep coming back for more, this place is a sleeper. I’ve had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and it doesn’t disappoint. Large portions, great presentation and affordable prices are what makes this place great! The food is great especially lunch and dinner. They even offer frozen dinners as a take home option! Staff is friendly and attentive.

I recently hosted a buffet luncheon for my family and it could not have been better. Food and service was beyond excellent.

Another excellent dish! My salmon was grilled perfectly…with feta cheese and avocados in the salad! Yummmm!

Stopped by on a Friday to take advantage of their dinner menu. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious! We were a family of 9 adults and everyone LOVED their dish. Lobster shrimp scampi pasta, Jumbo coconut shrimp, eggplant lasagna chicken parmigiana were FANTASTIC and very large portions. One of our guests even ordered a breakfast omelet. They serve breakfast all day. The service was great the kitchen staff do talented! We'll definitely be back!

The new ownership has transformed this Mystic Island institution. They still have the tried and true favorites but have added their own twist to certain dishes and offer new and exciting specials. Additionally, they've started adding dinner options. This local favorite is a must try for our newcomers.
