El Sombrero Mexican Little Canada

My wife and I just dined at El Sombrero, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly. My wife raved about her meal, saying it was fantastic! I ordered the burrito loco, and I can confidently say it was one of the best burritos I’ve had in the last five years. I highly recommend El Sombrero overall. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

Terrible service and the food was not worth the price. We visited at 11:30am and the restaurant was empty the entire time and the reason was obvious after about 10 minutes in. Our server was more interested in her phone than taking our order. We received a bowl of tomato flavored water instead of salsa. The plated food was beautiful but that did not make up for the obviously canned chicken flavor. We will never visit here again. Service: Dine in

It's 3 pm and we are the only patrons in here. Of the three people who have given us minimal attention, we cannot get someone to come back to simply fill our waters or bring us salsa. P.S.: I had to walk into the kitchen to find someone to give us our bill. Some lady came up and removed our salsa, promising to refill it, and never returned. We were STILL the only people here during normal business hours. Lousy, because this is such a beautiful restaurant and the food is tasty.
