I hope to see an expanded menu with the new owners. I will definitely be dining there again!

Once the first week they w... read more We were hopeful when this opened although the site has had a run of restaurants and a funeral home on site. We have been there twice. Once the first week they were open and then recently when another couple told us they had gotten better. They have a decent variety of beer. With tap out events on Fridays. They spent no money on interior. Walls could be wiped down and maybe some old English applied. Nothing really changed from previous business. Seemed dirty, place has a dreary 1970 's dive bar vibe. Food is mediocre. Wife had a blue cheeseburger and it had literally a heap of cheese on it. Smothered the taste. My wife likes that cheese but scraped off over half. I had the burger with the egg on it. It was pretty tasteless. Meat looked like a skimpy GFS patty. Fries were ok but it 's really hard to screw them up. You have to ask for everything! Ketchup other condiments. They give you one small napkin wrapped around utensils. We got a piece of cheese cake to go since we know the local baker. You get a sliver, about half of normal piece for city prices. The place just seems cheaply ran and they are cutting corners everywhere they can. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the beer. My recommendation, eat across the street at the pizza place. Then go to Red Door for your IPA. This place reminds me of a business that a foreigner runs. Like a motel ran by foreigners were everything is OK but you know not to expect much and smell curry throughout the hallways. What a disappointment. When I asked the other couple what was so good about it they replied What do you expect for Lithopolis ? I expect decent food and decent surroundings and the owners to put a little effort into appearance.
