The lines were slow-moving, likely due to the time of day. The young woman who took my order was efficient, and my order was accurate. The food was tasty, and my son and I enjoyed our little picnic in the park.
The hot dog was burnt and tasted burnt too. I ordered cheddar bites as a side but only received five.
I visited this restaurant around 1:40 AM and found only a few cars in the drive-thru, so I hoped the line would move quickly, and it did. However, when I got home, I was really disappointed. My wife ordered a cheeseburger with a double side of cheese bites and a Coke, but instead received a cheeseburger with Cajun fries and chicken nuggets. The fries had a concentrated patch of Cajun seasoning, making about a third of them inedible. At least the Coke was correct. As for me, I ordered a regular pork barbecue sandwich with onion rings and Cajun fries. Since I can't eat cheese, I made sure to order items that wouldn't contain it, but I got a cheeseburger that was burnt black on the bottom, along with the onion rings and Cajun fries, which also had all the seasoning clumped in one spot. Still, my mama taught me not to waste food, so I finished the fries, but the dog ended up with the cheeseburger. Overall, this was completely unacceptable. I work in the restaurant industry, and I know that every order counts, even late at night when staff might be eager to go home. This experience has made me decide that I won't return to this location, and possibly not even to other locations.
This place is incredibly disappointing. I went there to grab a bite about 30 minutes ago, around 6:30 pm on August 28th. First off, I ordered through the drive-thru, and the girl taking my order was extremely rude over the intercom. When I got to the window, two employees were loudly cursing with the window open. Apparently, they couldn't understand the car behind me, so they started complaining about it. Then they looked at me, laughed, and closed the window without saying a word—no "hello" or "I'll be with you shortly." So, I just drove off. I would rather eat somewhere else. The customer service is hit or miss; sometimes there’s a friendly person, and other times it’s just the opposite. This is frustrating because I used to enjoy Cook Out, but now I’m hesitant to return.
I was quite skeptical when I saw the long line for food, but I was pleasantly surprised to have my meal in under 15 minutes! The food was tasty and reminiscent of the great meals I used to enjoy at Cookout (unfortunately, many of them have declined in quality). The staff who took my order and handed me my food were extremely friendly and had a positive attitude. Overall, I was very impressed with this Cookout location!
