The staff is super welcoming. The location was perfect for our friends' wedding. The meals for the wedding and the brunch lunch the next day were so good, haute cuisine for my mouth. We had a great time there. I would happily return. Food and drinks: All the food was really delicious. As much as appetizers for the wedding reception, starters and main meal, dessert and lunch the next morning. Rooms: 5
As for the meals... they were simply divine! Dinner featured a velvety red bean and yogurt soup, exceptionally fresh fish, tender poultry, and a decadent dessert, along with delicious macarons! And brunch? The duck rillettes and potatoes were unforgettable, the bacon cooked to perfection, and the fragrant marmalades enhanced the experience! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore the surrounding area, but we did enjoy a short walk in the fresh snow to the belvedere, where the view was breathtaking. Strolling along the stream that meanders around the inn provided us with a magical glimpse of the surroundings. This place was a favorite for all of us!
We celebrated our wedding in this magical place. Nancy is an innkeeper who stands out in too many ways to name them all. In our case, a real mom wedding. She knew how to surround herself with a dream and dedicated team. It was simply perfect. I would give it more than 5* if I could. It is already planned that we will celebrate our wedding anniversaries there. A huge thank you to the entire Glacis team. The site exudes something calm and the river is magnificent. You quickly feel at home.
What a delicious time we had at the Auberge des Glacis! This historic place is imbued with such soul.. and the staff who welcomed us made the place friendly and warm. Dinner (we were lucky enough to come during the welcome of the new Chef Louis) was no joke rolling on the floor from start to finish. The wine list is more than generous and the lunch was not lacking either. An ideal refuge for food enthusiasts of this world. Thanks again, we will definitely be back.
