However, there are apparently new owners, the menu had changed and our favourites had been dropped. Had to make do with second choices and neither of us liked it. Haven’t been there since, and won’t be returning. Have found a lovely place for lunch, but am not sharing or reviewing it!

W... read more Unfortunately, the food and service at this restaurant were both terrible. The dishes were either overcooked or too cold, with some parts even being uncooked. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they were unresponsive, although they did refund most of our bill. This wasn't the first time we have had a bad experience with the service here. We will not be returning or recommending this place.

I had not eaten anything else after my... read more On my visit yesterday, I ordered a cheeseburger and chips. Unfortunately, I later experienced symptoms of food poisoning. I had not eaten anything else after my meal at Thornbury’s, indicating that the food there was not cooked properly. Additionally, the staff forgot to bring us the tray bake we ordered and paid for. I used to be a fan of this restaurant, but after these experiences, I can confidently say that there are much better dining options in Lisburn.
