Was User at Maxims a mag?
for many years a Maxims customer. never had a bad meal, not over price and a delivery service if they need it. the menu is extensive and we were always satisfied with quality and in portions. View all feedback.

What frankm654 dislikes about Maxims:
Thought after reading good reviews I thought I would try a take away. I ordered a breast of chicken curry with some mushroom. Place was very busy on this Friday night. Got home and noticed fried rice portion was smallish and just rice tossed in soya sauce, no egg. The curry portion was big. The sauce was very thin and tasted salty. I was feeling hungry one night so I decided to order a curry from this restaurant. The food was incredibly bland and I was very disappointed. I will definitely not be returning. I would suggest avoiding this place altogether.

I hadn't been to Maxims in a while, but a friend who frequents the restaurant recommended that I give it another try. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, generous portions, and the fact that it stayed hot even when taken home. I highly recommend trying their Salted Chilli Chicken as it was the best I've ever had.

Beef lately got a bit tough,I am OK but wife says chewy,I have to agree was lovely and tender in the beef curry not now.need to go back to the way you use to prepare it.

I understand that Christmas Eve is a busy time for restaurants, but that is not an excuse for poor service. I called at 8:30 pm for a delivery and was told the wait would be 1-1.15 hours. At 9:58, I called because my order still hadn't arrived. They said the driver was just leaving and my food arrived at 10:35. When I opened it, not only were the chips missing that I had ordered, but the chili chicken, which is my regular order, was an extremely small portion and had no chili on it. I tried calling for 20 minutes and no one picked up the phone. If this is how you treat your regular customers on Christmas, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the new year for sure.
